How to run it
Twelve is a sweet spot for club socials and ladder warm-ups: three full courts and nobody on the bench. CourtSheet builds an eleven-round rotation with no repeat partners and spreads the opponents as evenly as the numbers allow, then prints it as one big grid: rounds down the side, courts across the top, with blank score boxes under every game.
- Paste the twelve names from your group chat, one per line. Commas work too.
- Leave 3 courts. Choose 11 rounds for a full rotation, or fewer for a shorter session.
- Make the schedule and print it. Tape it to the court gate so players can find their next court without asking.
- Collect scores at the end of each round and type them in; the standings table updates as you type.
Tips
- Eleven rounds is long. Eight rounds still gives no repeat partners and fits a 2-hour block with games to 11.
- If one court is taken, drop to 2 courts: four players sit each round and CourtSheet rotates the sit-outs fairly.
- Print the player cards so each person carries their own list of courts and partners.
